PUBLIC NOTICE – LICENSING OF DOGS

The Valley, 29 March 2022 – A license is required for any dog Four (4) months and older. The owner of the dog is required to provide his/her name and address as well as the colour and sex of the dog. Tags are issued for each dog licensed and must be worn by the dog at all times.

? Dog licenses are due April 1st of each year and are valid until March 31st of the following year.
? The present fee for a dog license is EC $25.00.
? Dog License Fees are collected at the Inland Revenue Department.

Penalty for keeping dogs without license

ADVERTISEMENT

If a person keeps a dog for which a license under this Act is not in force, or if he keeps a greater number of dogs than he is authorized to keep by virtue of the permit granted under this Act, he shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of $1,000
