MAKANA FERRY ADDS TRIPS TO ANGUILLA FOR FESTIVAL DEL MAR WEEKEND

Plans for Easter 2022 are abuzz, and the Makana Ferry Service is offering an extended Easter holiday schedule for locals and tourists to take part in the festivities in St Maarten, Statia, Saba and Anguilla.

The Makana added a trip from Saba to Statia on Good Friday, April 15, at 7:15 pm, just in time for the weekend’s Easter celebrations. Be playful and join in for some beach volleyball, numerous water sports and the infamous Easter Monday Jouvert!
On Easter Sunday ,the Makana departs from Saba to Anguilla at 7:20 am – arriving at 10:30am for Festival del Mar. If you haven’t experienced this fun-filled Easter weekend, in Anguilla, now is your chance! Enjoy a feast of fresh local seafood, Johnny cakes, Caribbean rum and cold refreshments. Activities include boat racing, fishing contests, live music and so much more! The Makana heads back to Saba from Anguilla at 3:30 pm arriving at 6:30 pm. (times may vary on Easter Sunday.)
On Tuesday morning, April 19, the Makana departs from Statia to Saba at 6 am with a 7 am arrival, and departs from Saba to St Maarten at 7:20 am, arriving at 9:00 am.
Don’t miss out on the Easter weekend celebrations. Jump aboard the Makana luxury ferry!

Please note that proof of vaccination and negative covid test results are required for Anguilla entry permission.
