WOMEN’S WEEK 2022 CALENDAR AND HONOUREES

Gender Affairs Anguilla of the Ministry of Social Development and Education, Government of Anguilla, announces the Calendar of Events and honourees for Women’s Week 2022 – under the theme “Building a Better YOU” – taking place 6th to 12th March. The activities during the week are attached and focus on building holistic wellness for all women in Anguilla.

After facing challenging times, especially over the past few years, it is time to reset and refocus on becoming the best that we can be. Gender Affairs Anguilla is pleased to highlight the following ten women who are instrumental in promoting physical, mental, emotional and relational wellness for themselves and throughout their communities:
1) Dr. Olufunmike Banks-Devonish
2) Mrs. Shellecia Brooks-Johnson
3) Chef Karimah Carty
4) Ms. Meagan Carty
5) Mrs. Shana Jno-Baptiste
6) Mrs. Mishline Leader
7) Mrs. Melisha Maccow-Niles
8) Ms. Kemoloy Murphy
9) Ms. Karen Pina
10) Mrs. Shellya Rogers-Webster

The honourees will present their passions through open houses, seminars and virtual knowledge-sharing during Women’s Week. They will also be formally recognised at the International Women’s Day Service, on 8th March at 4:30 pm, in partnership with UWI Open Campus Anguilla and the Anglican Church Women Association, at the Pro Cathedral of St. Mary.

Gender Affairs Anguilla thanks all of the Women’s Week 2022 partners including Simply Natural and The Juice Bar that will offer special discounts during the week.
