Anguilla’s long-standing health food establishment, Simply Natural, is partnering with Gender Affairs Anguilla to celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s Week 2022. This year’s theme, “Building a Better You”, focuses on holistic wellness for women, and as part of the national activities, Simply Natural will host a special “Open House/Vegan Food Tasting” on Monday, 7th March between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. featuring Women’s Week Honouree, Chef Karimah Carty and other female entrepreneurs involved in natural health care.
Chef Carty will be preparing a number of vegetarian/vegan dishes for customers to sample, as well as a special sale on take-away lunch plates. Also on hand to mark the occasion and help build awareness, will be a number of local female entrepreneurs whose natural products are available at Simply Natural. These include skin care and other products by Lady Empress Naturals, Cari Bella Skin Care and Beautiful Transformations and a special promotion by Vegan Bites.
During the Open House and throughout the week of March 7 – 12th, Simply Natural will also provide guided information sessions and special discounts on a number of women’s natural health products.
Speaking on behalf of the Simply Natural Team, Owner/Managing Director and Gender Equality Activist, Dr. Phyllis Fleming-Banks, says that Simply Natural is delighted to partner with Gender Affairs in the focus on holistic wellness during Women’s Week 2022. “Natural holistic wellness through education and awareness-building, has been the driving force behind Simply Natural since opening our doors almost 29 years ago and we are particularly pleased to be promoting local female entrepreneurs in the holistic health sector.” she said.
The special focus on women’s health at Simply Natural will continue throughout the month of March, which is International Women’s Month.
