Day Dreamer, a day charter vessel bearing the St. Maarten flag, crashed into a rock – at full speed – on the western side of Anguilla on Wednesday evening, January 19, 2022.

The Day Dreamer struck a rock in the ocean at Shoal Bay West, leaving one person dead and another critically injured at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Further information surrounding the boat’s presence in Anguilla’s waters will be released the Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF). It is currently being handled by the Criminal Investigation Department.
