One of Anguilla’s prestigious hotels, Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, was delighted to have made a financial contribution to the West End Community Club during this Christmas holiday season.

On Monday, this week, December 13, Managing Director of Aurora Resort, Mr. Simon A. Fricker, presented a cheque for US$2,500 to benefit persons in the West End (District 7) community. On hand to receive the donation on behalf of the West End Community Club, were Mr. Cardigan Connor and Ms. Likerah Adams. They expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club for its generosity in support of the community at this time. Also, present at the event were representatives of the hotel – Chris Richardson and Melisha Maccow-Niles, Chairman and Deputy Chairperson of the Brand Ambassador Committee (Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club), respectively

This year, Aurora’s donation will go towards purchasing Christmas gifts for the community’s children under the age of 12. A portion of the money will also go towards funding a festive luncheon for senior citizens of District 7. The community children are expected to receive their gifts in time for opening on Christmas Day, and the senior citizens will be treated to a special luncheon at sometime during the holiday season.
