ANGUILLIAN IN NORTH CAROLINA HONOURED BY QUEEN

An Anguillian, in North Carolina, has been honoured by HM Queen Elizabeth ll on the occasion of his 100 Birthday.

He is Mr. Lemuel Rey, who previously resided just west of The Forest Bay with Felix and Mona Fleming. He now lives with his son, Mr. Vincent Rey, in North Carolina.

The centenarian is the brother of the late Mrs. Naomi Rogers of Stoney Ground. His other family members in Anguilla include Nephews Rodney Rey and Dale Rogers; and Niece, Mrs. Yvonne Rey.
The Governor of Anguilla, Ms. Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, mailed a card and a photograph of the Queen to Mr. Rey, wishing him happy birthday and the very best for the future.

Mr. Rey’s 100th birthday will be celebrated on Saturday, November 13, in North Carolina. The event will be broadcast live on Zoom.
