In what has now become an annual event, Four Season Anguilla has again partnered with schools on the island to ensure that students are equipped with fresh supplies for the new school year.
According to a release from the Resort, the initiative was supported by guests visiting Four Seasons Anguilla throughout the summer. They were encouraged to write a personal note to the students and to bring a book or educational game of their choice to add to the oversized bins.
Over 1400 children are to be benefit from the initiative across the six public primary schools: Adrian T. Hazell Primary; Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary; Morris Vanterpool Primary; Orealia Kelly Primary; Valley Primary; and Vivien Vanterpool Primary. The items collected in the bins, in recent months, were delivered to each school by the Four Seasons Anguilla Executive Team prior to students returning to their classrooms.
“We are always eager to give back to our local community – and supporting education on our island remains extremely important to us,” commented Mr. Diego Angarita, General Manager of Four Seasons Anguilla. “Books & Bins is an initiative that we are incredibly proud of – and to know that we can bring joy to local children, after a challenging year, is an honour.”
