The Valley- The Ministry and Department of Education wish to inform all principals, staff, parents and students of the following change to face-to-face learning operational timetables at the primary level.
Primary Schools
All classes within the Primary Sector will return to eLearning, effective Monday, 25th October, 2021, until further notice. School principals and class teachers will be in direct contact with parents and guardians to advise them of their child/ren’s remote learning timetable(s).
The growing numbers of positive cases in unvaccinated minors and the current epidemiological situation directly influenced the change.
Private Schools/Academies, Pre-Primary Schools and Daycare Centres must exercise their discretion as to whether or not they continue to operate. Facilities that are able to socially distance and observe protocols can remain open.

Secondary School (ALHCS)
The Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School will see no change to their current learning arrangements.
The public is reminded that the situation remains fluid. We continue to encourage all education stakeholders to remain attentive to the Department of Education’s Facebook page, as well as those of the various schools; and to continue to follow the advisories from the Ministry of Health.
