Primary Schools Netball Tournament Sponsored by ANGLEC

1st Place – Adrian T Hazell Primary

3rd Place – Orealia Kelly Primary

2nd Place – Morris Vanterpool Primary

Over the past week, from August 9th to August 17th, ANGLEC sponsored the Primary School Netball meet, under the banner of the Anguilla Amateur Netball Association, at the Webster Park. Young and energetic female players exhibited their best efforts in garnering coveted points for their respective schools.
The closing ceremony took place on Tuesday afternoon, August 17th, when trophies were presented to the winning schools and the best players of the teams were recognised. There were no players from the Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary School.

Presentation to Ysabel Gomez – VPS
Presentation to Jadelcie Adams – OKPS

For the five competing schools, due recognition went to the following Most Valuable Players (MVP): Vivien Vanterpool Primary’s Keronique Harrigan; Valley Primary’s Ysabel Gomez; Jadelcie Adams of Orelia Kelly Primary; Zelia Harrigan of Adrian T. Hazel; and Reyna Lico of Morris Vanterpool Primary.
Zelia Harrigan of Adrian T. Hazel was awarded for being the tournament’s overall Most Valuable Player and its Best Centre Court Player. Also in for applause were: Best Defense Player, Christen Fleming, of Orealia Kelly Primary and Best Shooter, Makiesha Connor, of Morris Vanterpool Primary.
The Adrian T. Hazel’s Royal Rams team merged as the champions. Morris Vanterpool Primary came in 2nd; Orelia Kelly Primary 3rd, Valley Primary got 4th place and Vivien Vanterpool came in 5th position.
