Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club is pleased to announce that the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation (RMSFF) has approved a $35,000 Challenge Grant to benefit the students of Anguilla. This grant is being offered to help purchase 100 laptop computers for students living on the island. The Challenge Grant was issued to the Anguilla Community Foundation and is intended to rally additional donors who care about the education of children in Anguilla and wish to leverage their gifts so that all students are technologically equipped to succeed.
The challenge grant is an opportunity for the Anguilla Community Foundation to encourage and inspire donors to contribute. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $35,000. Challenge Grants are paid once the target fundraising goal is reached.
The $35,000 Challenge Grant illustrates Aurora Anguilla’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community. This news comes following the recent announcement of a $25,000 grant that was awarded to Blanchards Anguilla Children’s Fund.
Formerly the Resorts & Residences by CuisinArt, Aurora Anguilla was recently acquired by Olympus Ventures, the family office of Richard M. Schulze. Known for helping his employees and giving back to the community, Mr. Schulze is looking to enable transformational change through his philanthropic efforts. As the Foundation’s work in Anguilla continues to unfold, additional announcements are expected.
