UWI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION – ANGUILLA CHAPTER TO HOLD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ON 5th MAY

The UWI Alumni Association – Anguilla Chapter (UWIAA) has announced Wednesday, 5th May 2021 as the date for its Annual General Meeting. All graduates and affiliates of The University of the West Indies residing on Anguilla are invited to attend the meeting scheduled for 4:15 p.m. at the UWI Open Campus Anguilla in Pope Hill.
The Agenda for the Meeting includes the Report of Executive, the Treasurer’s Report and Election of Members of the Executive.

The UWI Alumni Association – Anguilla Chapter is the local arm of the regional Association and incorporates graduates from all five campuses of the UWI (Mona, St. Augustine, Cave Hill, Five Islands and the Open Campus). The Association is dedicated to the advancement of the University of the West Indies as a centre of excellence in the Caribbean through the mobilisation of its graduates. Through outreach and networking, local Chapters seek to engage graduates from all campuses and disciplines in the promotion of personal and professional development, fundraising, involvement in the work of the Campuses and providing support and mentorship for local staff and students.
President, Ms. Yvette Wallace is extending a special invitation to the new UWI Graduates, as well as the hundreds of Alumni on Anguilla to attend the meeting and become active in the Association. She also thanks the other Executive Members, Mr. Michael Skellekie, Mr. Colwayne Pickering, Mrs. Verrerlyne Bruno-Mason, Ms. Marcia Brooks, Ms. Vanisha Proctor and Mrs. Alina Richardson-Davis for their contributions over the last two years.
