Buckingham Palace has released details of the funeral of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh.

The Royal Ceremonial Funeral of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh will be held on Saturday 17th April at 10:00 AXA time/15:00 UK time in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. His Royal Highness will lie-at-rest in Windsor Castle ahead of the funeral service.

One-Minute Silence
To mark the death of His Royal Highness there will be a one-minute silence on the day of the funeral, Saturday 17th April, at 10:00 AXA time/ 15:00 UK time.
To pay our respects to His Royal Highness this silence will be observed in all Public Service buildings in operation on Saturday. Local businesses, other bodies and individuals may wish to make arrangements for observing the one- minute silence. This is a decision for individual organisations.
Book of Condolence
A book of condolence has been opened for the public to sign at the Governor’s Office, available this week between the hours of 09:00 – 15:00. You can also pay tribute via the official website for the Royal Family, where an online condolence book has been opened; please visit www.royal.uk
Next week, the book of condolence will be made available at the following Senior Citizens’ residential care homes for any residents who may wish to write a personal message of condolence:

Period of Mourning
A period of mourning will be observed by the Governor’s Office and the Anguilla Public Service concluding on 17 April inclusive.
All public services will continue as usual throughout the mourning period. Members of the public will be able to access information and services as necessary.
