Tuesday, 9th March 2021 — For the past few weeks, my mind’s thoughts have centred on the push in Anguilla, and other countries, for people to vaccinate against COVID-19. It has truly revealed the world in which we’re living and shown how most persons fall in line with whatever controlling powers pontificate – and some do not. More citizens are voicing divergent opinions to being vaccinated.
What concerns consciously awoke individuals who think outside of the box is this “herd immunity” concept. What happens when we don’t conform to society’s expectations? What occurs when elected representatives’ plans, designed for governments’ agendas worldwide, adversely impact our lives?
Moreover, what are the long-term effects of these “vaccines”? Are they effective against new strains of the Novel Coronavirus? Do they lessen the severity of symptoms/prevent deaths? If our immune systems are healthy, then are these “vaccines” absolutely necessary?
These are just a few ethical questions that I mention for our pondering. We’re all challenged by what’s occurring in today’s world. It really is disturbing to see what has happened because of this global pandemic.
What’s more worrisome is – instead of promoting natural ways to improve our bodies immunity, there’s a strong promotion of sanitising, social distancing and vaccinating as the only way to protect everyone from this contagion. These “vaccines” supposedly boost the immune system to fight against the virus, but they don’t prevent anyone from getting COVID-19.
Do we want to inject healthy immune systems with an unknown, foreign substance? Or do we prefer to eat nutritional foods and beverages, exercise, reduce stress and eliminate detrimental habits to maintain our bodies’ natural immunity?
With this persuasive vaccination campaign promoting an invasive method to treat the virus, we’re all experiencing various levels of duress. We don’t know the ingredients in these “vaccines” developed by scientists – and that gravely concerns all a’ we.
I’m not in favour of the “vaccine” for myself, in particular, nor for others who don’t want to take it. Anyone who wants to take it can. Nonetheless, I’m waiting for more substantiating data before making my decision on whether to get jabbed.
Some relatives and friends whom I have conversed with experienced mild to adverse reactions from the first and second dosages. Symptoms ranged from a slight headache, arm soreness to high fever, joints aching and inability to sit up.
Governments and public health organisations have agendas strongly pushing inoculation of the masses with genetically engineered “vaccines” that haven’t gone through years of clinical trials amongst diverse populations. In essence, anyone vaccinated is part of the global trials for testing safety and efficacy.
We commend the Government of Anguilla for implementing stringent health protocols and quarantine that have kept our island relatively COVID-free. The GOA’s marketing slogan – “Vaccinate for you, me and the economy” – used to encourage people to get vaccinated, is simply a catchphrase.
Even with 70 percent of the population inoculated, there’s no guarantee tourism statistics will increase substantially to improve the nation’s economy. Let’s be realistic. There’s already a tremendous unrepayable debt that will exist for generations.
In this world, there’s a lot of greed. Money talks. We’re not talking about how creating these “vaccines” is supporting wealthy pharmaceutical company stockholders. A news report claimed Pfizer is coercing Caribbean and Latin American governments into giving up countries’ rights to obtain “vaccines”. I cannot confirm if this is factual. Yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is.
People talk about the “vaccine” being required for travel – not being able to renew a passport without it. We’ve no idea what laws will be legislated regarding COVID-19 “vaccines”. Nonetheless, theories regarding what may happen henceforth are alarming. No one can escape whatever is coming. We’ll have to endure whatever comes.
In childhood, we were required to take certain thoroughly-tested vaccines. Yet, as adults, some are particularly concerned regarding this COVID-19 “vaccine” which has not gone through years of clinical trials, amongst a diverse population, to prove its efficacy and safety – nor its impact on varying health conditions.
There will be persons who disagree with anyone who chooses not to be vaccinated – and others who will agree with this choice. Whatever we opt, let us respect everyone’s decision.
Author’s note: Some scientific and medical professionals dispute whether the COVID-19 vaccine is truly a vaccine or gene therapy. Thus, quotation marks are used with this terminology.
