This week, Thoughtful Digital Agency announced the acquisition of 15 Laptop Computers to be used as a part of the Thoughtful Labs program. In October of 2020 the agency received word that the initial location for hosting the Thoughtful Labs was no longer going to be available for use. “We were definitely disappointed, but our commitment to this program and the young people that are a part of it is bigger than any setback, so we pushed forward.” Tahirah Banks, co-founder at Thoughtful Reflected The team at Thoughtful worked much of October and November of 2020 to source individuals willing to add to the company’s investment in computers for the labs.

In December, thanks to the contributions of three donors from the USA and Anguilla, Thoughtful was able to unbox and ready 15 laptop computers for use in the Tech Lab. Gino Webster, CTO & Co-Founder at Thoughtful is excited. “Our youngsters will now each have their own personal device for use in Thoughtful labs every Saturday. I’m excited about that and the fact that the students can now participate in the program in a very hands-on way. Thoughtful’s Vision as an agency is to lead programs that through technology, empower people and communities in SIDS (Small Island Developing States) around the World, to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. – Contributed
