The Ministry of Health is launching a new online registration system for the COVID-19 vaccine. As of Thursday, January 21, everyone over the age of 18 can register their interest in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

The online registration system is a part of the Ministry’s comprehensive vaccination deployment plan and can be accessed by logging onto “beatcovid19.ai/vaccine.”

The Ministry of Health has been informed that the first two tranches of the AstraZeneca Vaccine; in total 15,000 doses should arrive by the second week of February from the United Kingdom. It is anticipated that these two tranches will be able to cover approximately 7500 persons by the end of the first quarter. The goal is to provide coverage for 70% of Anguilla’s target population by December 2021.

The online registration system will assist in the planning and implementation of the introduction of this vaccine into the National Immunization Programme. The Ministry will also utilize this website platform to provide updates and information on the COVID-19 vaccine as a part of our public education programme. The latter is geared at ensuring that our population is ready and willing to be vaccinated. This is of paramount importance to the success of this programme and to the transitioning of Anguilla to a post COVID-19 state.
Please ensure to log on the beatcovid19.ai/vaccine to express your interest in this national programme.

For further information, persons may visit beatcovid19.ai website, the Ministry’s Facebook page or contact the Ministry’s hotlines at 476-7627, that is 476 SOAP or 584-4263, that is 584-HAND.
