In line with the requirements set out in legislation, HE the Governor will shortly make appointments to the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Public Service Integrity Board (PSIB).
Public Service Commission (PSC)
The PSC advises on appointments to the Public Service, helping to ensure the Anguilla Public Service attracts and retains high quality officers. The Commission also advises the Deputy Governor on sensitive disciplinary and procedural issues.
Public Service Integrity Board (PSIB)
The PSIB’s role is to examine requests for permission from public officers to acquire or hold any interest in a commercial undertaking or to engage in private work and to advise the Governor whether this may constitute a conflict of interest. The Board is also invited from time to time to investigate any alleged conflict of interest of any public officer.
Anyone who feels they have the right skill set and would like to be considered as an appointee to either board for a period of two years commencing 25 January 2021 is asked to submit by e-mail their curriculum vitae along with a cover page outlining interest to colin.hicks@fcdo.gov.uk
The submission must be received by 4pm 28 December 2020.
