The Jamaica Cultural Association-Anguilla Diaspora (JCAD) embarked on its first community project on Saturday Nov 28th with a beach clean up at Sandy Ground.
The Association which was rebirthed in October this year, under a new Executive Body headed by President Mr Warren Buddle, mandated efforts to integrate into Anguillian society for both social and environmental causes.

In a joint initiative with Chairman of The Anguilla Tourist Board, – Mr Kenroy Herbert, also an Environmental Activist, the JCAD converged on Sandy Ground Beach at 6 am last Saturday and executed a successful beach clean up campaign.
Public Relations Officer of the JCAD, Ms Patricia Bygrave, verbalised that the joint effort proved to be worthwhile and fun-filled simultaneously. She concluded that the JCAD will continue as part of its mandate, to give back to the community, over the holidays, with other social projects to bring cheer to the elderly and less privileged.
