Last week the Anguilla Craft Group donated funds to Renuka Harrigan for the Arijah Foundation. The funds are specifically to assist some of her students who need assistance with medicinal supplies – or physical therapy sessions that are becoming difficult for the families to fund during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Craft Group meets once a week and holds regular sales of its work. It aims to use the funds for groups in the community who need help. It recently funded the Food Bank for three months – and in the past has donated equipment to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Senior Citizens’ Homes.

The next sale will be of Christmas items including bottle lights, Christmas crackers, gift cards, decorated bottles, tea towels, knitted toys, key chains and much more. The sale is planned for December 5 at Roy’s Restaurant – along with several other exhibitors.
