The Centennial Celebration activities will commence with a Church Service at St Andrews Anglican Church at 5 pm on Monday, November 2nd, with the Right Reverend Errol Brooks officiating, and the sermon to be delivered by Pastor Gareth Hodge, who is the son of Mr. Walter Hodge and is the Pastor of the Hill Top Baptist Church.
On Wednesday, November 4th, at 6:30 pm, there will be a Round Table Discussion at the Teachers’ Resource Centre on the Centennial theme, where panellists and the audience will discuss the times in which he lived and the influences on his life and choices, and his remarkable achievements and legacy.
Tributes and memorials will then follow, from those present and from family members overseas who will participate virtually. Both of these functions will be live-streamed. The activities will conclude with family gatherings on the weekend.
