The Royal Anguilla Police Force wrapped up two days of training exercise on Tuesday 8th September 2020 for fifteen special constables who took the oath of office on Monday 7th September 2020. The fifteen special constables are the latest in a batch of special constables who have been recruited into the RAPF as part of the organisation’s strategy to combat the covid-19 pandemic. Over the two days, the officers participated in scenarios and were lectured on important areas of policing that are instrumental in executing their job function.
At the end of the two days exercise, the officers were presented with certificates of completion by Commissioner of Police, Mr. Paul Morrison OBE, QPM. The training was facilitated by the Corporate Development Department of the RAPF and was held at the Anguilla Recruit Training Centre.
The RAPF takes this opportunity to thank all persons who would have expressed interest in becoming a special constable within the RAPF and look forward to their contribution in completing the task at hand.
