Fellow Anguillians:

The Anguilla Progressive Movement is committed to a strong and vibrant National Commercial Bank of Anguilla (NCBA). We believe that a strong NCBA is essential to our national development, and we are committed to ensuring that the bank grows from strength to strength while delivering on the promise of maintaining indigenous status.

We are keen to see the bank develop U.S.-corresponding banking services, along with faster full-service banking.

We are concerned about the former employees of the National Bank of Anguilla and the Caribbean Commercial Bank, and it is our desire to seek a speedy resolution to the outstanding issues relating to their pensions.

The offshore depositors of NBA-PB&T and CCIB must also be addressed. We cannot ignore their deposits and the reputational harm which has been caused to Anguilla – post the Banking Resolution.

As we move along together, we must ensure that the pillars of our society are retained and positioned to allow a more sustainable economic and social future for all Anguillians.

We wish you a wonderful and safe holiday.

God bless you and may God continue to bless Anguilla.

Thank you.

Ellis L. Webster
Leader, Anguilla Progressive Movement
