On Monday 18th May, 2020, the Department of Youth and Culture – Youth Affairs Division (DYC) – was struck by yet another phenomenal individual with a passion for the youth of Anguilla and our culture. Meet our newest team member Toniquewah R. Ruan who is the newly appointed Programme Assistant and Field Officer for the Job Link-Up programme in the Youth Affairs Division.

Ton, as she is affectionately called, was transferred from the Department of Education where she was a Teacher (Primary Level) for the past seven years. It was during that time she developed a deeper passion for working in a more diverse field with young people. She is a firm believer in building our young people’s knowledge and skills for the future.

Toniquewah is eager to begin her journey with the Department of Youth and Culture and brings with her: enthusiasm, diligence, positivity and commitment to the Youth Affairs Division team.
