Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak and the need for social distancing, The Government of Anguilla has made the decision to cancel the Anguilla Day Programme and Official Anguilla Day Celebrations 2020.
The health and welfare of the Anguillian community are Government’s highest priority. Given the current situation, cancellation of this national celebration is the best approach to ensure the health and safety of our people. Those involved in the planning of the various events have been informed and will plan accordingly for the arrangement of virtual activities that will seek to convey the essence of Anguilla Day. Government, through its protocol function via the Premier’s Office will communicate these plans over the coming days.
Please continue to monitor the various media channels for forthcoming details. We thank you the public and our Anguilla Day Partners for your support over the years and even as we all work through this extraordinary time.

Victor F. Banks
Premier
