The Harvest Festival of the Methodist Church Anguilla Circuit was concluded on Sunday 15th March with the Harvest Cantata of the Ebenezer Congregation. The Festival began on January 26 at the Zion Chapel in North Hill and on subsequent weekends the other Congregations held their own celebrations during the morning service and with a programme in the afternoon. On Sunday members from the other Congregations in the Circuit joined the Ebenezer Family as they gave thanks to God and celebrated the gifts from his bounty over the past year.

The interior of the chapel was beautifully decorated a with wide selection of local produce including pumpkins, potatoes, peas, corn, papayas, banana and coconuts. Plants and fresh picked flowers added to the décor. The harvest also included an assortment of baked goods and fresh fish.
The programme at Ebenezer included selections from all the organisations in the Congregation. These included: poems; choir selections; a dance presentation by the Girls’ Brigade; choral readings a skit and a solo. There was also a guest appearance by the popular Roots Binghi Drummers whose performance was well received. The organist for the programme was Sister Joan Lloyd.
