Kicks United are the 2020 Anguilla Football Association Tropical Distributors sponsored Soccerama Champions. Infront of a huge and appreciative crowd Kicks United FC defeated the Police Enforcers FC in the AFA Soccerama Finals.
During the event, Kicks defeated arch rivals Roaring Lions by 4 goals to 1 in penalty Kicks. In the Semi Finals Kicks again narrowly squeezed past the DOCS United in Penalty Kicks by a score of 4 goals to 3.
Junior Simon was spectacular in goal to keep Kicks in the game, but it was cool finishing from the shot that saw the Kicks through to the finals.
In the finals, striker Jonathan Guishard produced a spectacular shot from the top of the box in the first half to stun the Police and send the Kicks fans into ecstasy.
The Enforcers fought valiantly but the Kicks defense stood firm and held on for victory. Junior Simon was named M.V.P. of the finals and both Stewart Murray and Miguel Abraham were awarded top goal scorers of the finals.
The AFA Senior male Football League Kicks off this Saturday 1st February with a double header at 4.00pm at the Raymond E. G. Guishard Technical Center. It’s Football! Football! Football!
