The Anguilla Football Association has completed a Primary School Football Giveaway Tour to encourage more football in schools! This ball giveaway comes off the heels of the NCBA – sponsored Primary School Football Competition where we were able to see remarkable talent and potential from many of the participants!
The Anguilla Football Association has as one of its projects, for this year, to grow a Grassroots Program that will encourage more football in all communities – as each child in Anguilla should have access to a football and the sport. The Executive Committee of the Anguilla Football Association has openly expressed its desire to support the local primary schools in many areas – providing coaches and other resources for improved training to the various schools.
The Association would like to thank the local Primary School Principals and their staff for so kindly welcoming members of the AFA: – Coach Billy Hughes (National U-20 Team Head Coach), Mr. Germain Hughes, and the Female Face of Football winner, Miss Alissa Hodge!
The Association anticipates a great year for Primary School football and is looking forward to the development ahead.
