The Department of Youth and Culture congratulates the Royal Organisation of Anguilla Rastafari (R.O.A.R.) on successful completion of the department’s accreditation process.
R.O.A.R. seeks to re-educate the community on Caribbean historical consciousness; organise and centralise the Anguilla Rastafari community as one unified body; attend to the needs of children, elders, sick, incarcerated and under-served; and raise awareness of reparations and repatriation rights and efforts.
The Hon. Minister of Social Development, Mr. Evans McNeil Rogers; Permanent Secretary, Dr. Bonnie Richardson-Lake; and the Director and staff of the Department of Youth and Culture, express their best wishes to the organisation.
Members of culture and arts organisations on Anguilla, who have not yet been registered or accredited by the Department, are encouraged to contact the Senior Programme Officer – Culture, Ms. Tiffany M. Rogers at tiffany.rogers@gov.ai or by telephone (264) 498 3792/497 0969. The registration and accreditation process is used to determine an organisation’s eligibility to receive funding from the Department of Youth and Culture.
