Just out of a busy Christmas or festive season, Executive Committee members and employees at every level at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla joined in a mass party at Royale Caribbean on Saturday evening, January 11.
Well-attired for the occasion, many in formal wear, the delighted employees were entertained with cocktails in the reception area of the locally-owned Royale Caribbean Hotel before entering the large dining area to a sumptuous dinner spread and music.
There, following the dinner, the employees were welcomed by Four Seasons’ Resort Manager, Mr. Billy Cueto, who said 2019 was “an incredible year” for Four Seasons “and one for the books”. He went on: “When I arrived in Anguilla in 2018, the Resort was just getting back on its feet [following Hurricane Irma] and where it is today, compared with where it was when we reopened in March 2018, is unbelievable. The men and women who are standing around here, right now, contributed to where we are – and the success that we have. Thank you on behalf of Jose’ [the General Manager] and the Planning Committee.”
Earlier, at the commencement of the event, Mr. Jose’ Adames, who was travelling back to Anguilla from the United States, addressed the employees by video link. “I just want to say thank you so much for 2019. What you were able to accomplish was unprecedented,” he told them, mentioning in particular their work during Thanksgiving and the Christmas and Festive Season. He added: “I hope that 2020 will be better that 2019 – and I look forward to spending another amazing year by your side. Thank you and Anguilla stronger forever. Love you guys.”
The employees gathered around the Resort Manager, Mr. Cueto, as he announced the names of Front of the House nominees for December; the Heart of the House nominees also for December; the Employee of the Year 2019 nominees – as well as cash prizes and trips won by a number of employees.
