As you are aware, cancer, particularly, breast cancer is a growing problem within our community. As such, the purpose of this Walkathon is to raise awareness of this growing epidemic and encourage our community to join the fight against cancer by being active rather than sedentary.

I have hosted several events to this cause and continuously support the Anguilla Breast Cancer Association and individuals in the community diagnosed with breast cancer, This event was a huge success with over 500 people supporting, donating & ‘chipping’ around the streets of Anguilla. The Walkathon is dedicated to the strongest woman I know, my sister Annmarie, who battled stage three breast cancer while pregnant. She now lives to tell the story and inspires persons that need the upliftment during their fight with the disease.

Hilroy- “My ultimate calling in life is to help people, not just physically but mentally emotionally and financially. Life & death should not be determined by your financial situation & I do hope one day this can be put to rest but for now I’ll do whatever I have too, to help as much as I can. Last year I was able to help ONE cancer warrior. This year I helped THREE!

The Anguillian community came out in strong numbers that night, supporting and having an amazing time! And every one of them should feel overly satisfied knowing they helped THREE persons fight! They gave THREE persons a feeling of HOPE! And they showed THREE persons they are not alone! This is the most satisfying feeling ever”.
