Ms. Darrelle Harrigan

The Valley, Anguilla, November 11, 2019: Republic Bank (EC) Limited has introduced Ms. Darrelle Harrigan as its Country Manager for banking operations here in Anguilla.
Ms. Harrigan has more than 15 years in the field of banking and has amassed a wealth of experience and expertise in finance. Prior to taking up her current role as Republic’s Country Manager, Anguilla, she served as Branch Manager of the Bank of Nova Scotia’s Grand Anse Branch in St George’s, Grenada.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Service from Nipissing University in Canada, and a Masters in International Accounts and Finance from Liverpool University in the UK. In addition to her role at Republic Bank, Ms. Harrigan mentors university students, as a member of her alma mater’s Nipissing NU Café community, an exclusive networking and mentoring platform where professionals assist students in the development of their skills and competencies.
Ms. Harrigan’s appointment follows the acquisition of the operations of the Bank of Nova Scotia by Republic Financial Holdings Ltd. Republic Bank opened its branch, staffed by 22 employees, to the Anguillan public on Friday November 1, 2019.
With a diverse network of 118 branches, in 14 territories and more than 5,900 employees, Republic Bank has been building relationships with stakeholders and serving customers for 182 years. Socially responsible and deeply committed to building successful societies wherever it operates, the Bank will soon introduce its “Power to Make a Difference” corporate social responsibility programme to Anguilla.
