Presentation of School Supplies by Omega Car Show Club Representatives

Thanks to the Omega Car Show Club, the Adrian T. Hazell Primary School has been able to build up and add to its material supplies for its teachers and student body.

The club, represented by a number of members, including the well-known Mr. Jason Brooks and Ms. Ianisha Carty, made the presentation to the Principal of the school, Ms. Tiffany Thomas, on Tuesday, October 1.
In a short address, Ianisha Carty said: “The Omega Car Show Club is proud to announce that their annual car show will be held on December 15, 2019 at the Inflatable World Water Park. The competition will include vehicles from Anguilla, St. Maarten and Tortola. The event usually fosters a fun and family-like atmosphere for persons attending and taking part in the show.

“Through the car show, the Club provides educational outreach to schools and other groups, focusing on youth education and development. This year, Team Omega decided to reach out to the Adrian T.Hazell School and has identified supplies needed by the school. Some items are easily available and we have made the decision to get these items immediately rather than waiting until the car show. Larger items, such as filing cabinets, will be purchased [and donated] following the car show.”

Jason Brooks explained that the items presented so far included staplers, rulers, pencils and sharpeners, three-foot garbage bins and tubs and hand sanitizers. He continued: “We reach out to every primary school on the island, and found it fitting to come to the Adrian T. Hazell School this year. Our team is a huge one and we have members who went to this school.”

Responding, Principal Tiffany Thomas said: “On behalf of the students and the staff of the Adrian T. Hazell Primary School, we would like to express our enormous gratitude for the school supplies from the Omega Car Show Club. We will ensure that they are used wisely.”
