Ms Lorna Rogers, President of the Anguilla Amateur Athletic Federation (AAAF) has received the Veteran Pin at the IAAF Gala Dinner on Tuesday 24th September in Doha, Qatar for her outstanding contribution to athletics. Ms Rogers has served as the President of the Anguilla Amateur Athletics Federation for three consecutive terms.
Ms Rogers was one of three persons from the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) region to receive the IAAF Veteran Pin.
Miss Rogers is one of the four member delegation attending the IAAF 17th Congress and 52nd World Championship . She is accompanied by General Secretary of the AAAF Mrs Tracelyn Hamilton.
The sole athlete representing Anguilla in the 100m is Saymon Rijo Morris, who is accompanied by his coach Mr. Rollins Richardson.
