The Valley, Anguilla – August 9, 2019: A Super Lotto winner in St. Maarten had plans to purchase a new home and vehicle, as well as start a new business. One winner in Barbados was going to start building a new house, while other Barbadians were busy making plans to use their prizes to support their families in different ways. A Super Lotto winner in Antigua was investigating ways to invest his money for the future.

These are just some of the ways in which Super Lotto players across the Caribbean planned on fulfilling their dreams over the past decade. During the month of August, The Barbados Lottery and Caribbean Lottery will offer players and supporters special opportunities to win prizes through their social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram), as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of Super Lotto.

The first Super Lotto draw took place on August 28, 2009. Since then, eleven Caribbean residents have hit the jackpot: eight (8) in The Barbados Lottery and three (3) in the Caribbean Lottery (two in St. Maarten and one in Anguilla). No less than ninety (90) lucky players have won on Match 5: 48 in Barbados, 14 in Antigua/Barbuda, 12 in Anguilla, 10 in St. Maarten, 4 in St. Kitts and 2 in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

As of August 7, 2019, The Barbados Lottery has paid out over BBD$60.7 Million (US$30.4 Million) and the Caribbean Lottery has paid out over ECD$38.3 Million or US$14.4 Million in winnings.

Stay tuned for more details of this exciting offer at The Barbados Lottery and The Caribbean Lottery, as we celebrate a decade of dreams come true!
