Miss Tia Webster
Tia Webster and Francesca Richardson are the 2019 N.Y.P.D. champions. On Saturday 6th July in front of a packed audience they defeated Vijay Southwell and Electa Adam in the finals of the N.Y.P.D. debating competition. The moot was “The carnival celebrations in Anguilla have a more positive than negative effect on the society. Francesca Richardson was judged the best speaker of the finals while Electa Adams won best speaker for year 2 and Tia Webster won best speaker for year 2. Cayenne Jeffers was named the best new debater, while Shonte´ Hope captured the most improved award.
