The Department of Probation’s Community Service Unit helped the Anguilla Lions Club in cleaning the grounds of the Wallblake House on 25th May and 1st June 2019. The involvement of residents in this activity forms part of the Zenaida Haven’s Give Back Programme. Residents, along with members of the Anguilla Lions Club, staff of Zenaida Haven and the Community Service Officer, Ms. René Henry, assisted in cutting overgrown hedges and plants on the grounds of the historical landmark.
The Unit was invited to participate in this project as a part of the Anguilla Lions Club annual Environmental Giveback. In attendance were members of the Anguilla Lions Club, staff of the Department of Probation; Mr. Kevois Lake, Mr. Rodwell Grant, Ms. Toya Carty, Ms. René Henry and residents of Zenaida Haven.
