The introduction of drugs, like Viagra and Cialis, to treat erectile dysfunction, has certainly made a difference in the lives of many men in Anguilla and other countries. Unfortunately, a number of over-the-counter pills and supplements are available and are used for erectile dysfunction that are not safe. Many of the hundreds of unregulated pills marketed as natural male sexual enhancers might improve sexual function, but are usually associated with severe side effects.
Erectile dysfunction
Many men over the age of 60 years do suffer from some form of erectile dysfunction. It is recommended that these men should see their doctor for a complete evaluation as a few disorders, such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and others, are associated with erectile problems. Erectile dysfunction should be thoroughly investigated by a qualified doctor – and the underlying cause(s) should be determined, managed and reversed if possible.
Since the late 1990s Viagra and other phosphodiesterase-5-inhibitors (PPE5I) medications, like Cialis and Levitra, have been available for erectile dysfunction. These drugs are available in Anguilla with a doctor’s prescription and their use are well regulated.
Men should not use over-the-counter male enhancement pills as many of them are not safe and can have serious side effects.
Male erections require adequate penile blood supply, and nerve supply, and adequate levels of the male hormone testosterone and the right state of mind.
Dangers of male unregulated male enhancement supplements
All men should be reluctant to buy unregulated male enhancement pills. The vast majority of these pills are not regulated and are not approved for such use. Many claim to be all natural, but several studies have found them to contain several chemicals some of which are harmful to the body’s organs.
These unregulated sex pills are potentially very dangerous to a man’s health as they have not gone through rigorous testing, and the possible harmful health effects are numerous and very troubling. There is no data to support the safety or efficacy of these falsely advertised natural supplements.
Many of these so called natural male enhancers actually contain chemicals that are dangerous rip-offs of the active ingredients in Viagra and other similar drugs.
Several of the fake natural products do improve blood flow to the penis, but they also do untold harm to other organs such as the heart, kidneys, brain and liver.
Types of unregulated male enhancement pills
There are a number of unregulated male enhancement pills that are sold over-the-counter and from other dubious places. Such pills include the following:
Stiff Nights: This supposed male sexual stimulant is marketed as a type of dietary supplement. These pills contain the chemical sulfoaidenafil which could dangerously lower a man’s blood pressure and potentially have a deadly reaction with nitrate medications.
Rock Hard Weekend: This unregulated male sexual enhancer also contains sulfoaidenafil and has the same potentially deadly side effect profile.
Man Up Now: This product is marketed as an all-natural and herbal enhancement medication but is far from natural – and also contains the potentially dangerous sulfoaidenafil.
Magic Power Coffee: This instant coffee product is not magical, and is not 100 percent natural as falsely advertised. It contains sulfoaidenafil and hydroxyhomosildenafil.
Mr Magic Male Enhancer from Don Wands: This product is far from magical as it contains the untested, dangerous chemicals sulfoaidenafil and hydroxyhomosildenafil.
Time Out Capsules: This product is marketed as being 100 percent natural but it also contains potentially dangerous sulfoaidenafil that could potentially cause sudden death in men taking nitrate medications.
Men should not use the sexual enhancement supplements or pills as some of them can be deadly.
Conclusion
If you have erectile problems please visit your doctor. See a doctor who is qualified and confidential so that your disorder can be fully evaluated prior to going on any medication. There are some underlying disorders that are associated sexual dysfunction and these should be addressed. The use of unsafe male sexual enhancement drugs can be very dangerous and can have serious side effects. Avoid taking unprescribed and unregulated male enhancements pills.
