Road Bay, Sandy Ground, was a hub of activity on Anguilla Day when crowds from the Official Parade at the Ronald Webster Park and from Road Bay joined in following the round-the-island boat race.

The fun-lovers, mostly young people in holiday attire or showcasing the national colours of Anguilla in other dress wear, boarded two large vessels – the La Nina and the MP Silvia – from St. Maarten for the accompanying boat trip.

Music, dancing and feting were all part of the trip along with the excitement of witnessing the progress of the Anguilla Day round-the-island boat race at firsthand.
