At the Mount Fortune SDA Church in Anguilla the focus of the meeting, on Saturday, May 25, was on child abuse. The first part of the discussion was to have been on cyber bullying of children delivered by an officer of the Royal Anguilla Police Force. That session did not take place however due to other commitments the police officer had.

The small after-church meeting was conducted by Mr. Clive (Frankie) Smith, a senior officer at the Department of Social Development and a youth leader at the Mount Fortune SDA Church.

His presentation was interspersed with readings of several sections of preventive child abuse legislation in Anguilla – overseen by his department and other related family life laws. The session provided much feedback and an appreciation of the serious issues facing the family home, community and the religious life of Anguilla.
