Ms. Britney Bellot graduated from Johnson and Wales in Miami on May 18, 2019. She proudly waved the Anguilla flag as she took the stage to receive her degree in Marketing. Ms. Bellot was the first and only one carrying the Anguilla flag at the graduation ceremony.“I was so excited to carry this flag and represent Anguilla,” said Ms. Bellot. “I’m proud of Anguilla and how this wonderful country has been so influential in my life, my studies, and my career.”

Ms. Bellot was a 2014 graduate of Albena Lake Hodg

e Comprehensive School and competed in two pageants during her school years: Mr. & Mrs. 5th Form Pageant and “Scotiabank Talented Teen.”

Her first job in hospitality was at Viceroy Anguilla where she worked for eight months before beginning college at the North Miami campus of Johnson and Wales. In 2016, Ms. Bellot began working part time as a Reservation Agent and was recently promoted to Group Reservation Specialist. She works full time now in the Four Seasons Anguilla Miami office. This “satellite office” is home to the resort’s Sales & Marketing team, and consists of more than a dozen professionals who manage the travel industry, group sales, marketing, public relations, and reservation offices.

“I decided to attend Johnson and Wales University North Miami campus due to its prestigious academic courses, ability to build bonds with professors, and pool of networking opportunities,” said Ms. Bellot.

This overachiever also graduated a year earlier than most students and is excited to continue her role with Four Seasons.

“I like that Four Seasons allows opportunities for growth for their employees and treats their colleagues and guests like family.”

When asked what Ms. Bellot would say to inspire young children of Anguilla to go into hospitality she said, “Be sure you are genuinely passionate about caring and helping others.”
