Presentation of blankets

Last week, the management of the Health Authority of Anguilla was pleasantly surprised by a most philanthropic gesture when Ms. Valaree Connor (Anguillian living in Massachusetts, USA), and her family (the Richardsons of West End), donated 35 blankets for inpatient use at the hospital. Ms. Connor and her family were motivated to do this as some years ago their brother was hospitalised giving them the opportunity to experience the many needs of the hospital. The fact that they used this experience to do something positive for others is admirable.
Present at the handing over of the blankets were the Honourable Minister of Health, Mr. Evans Mc. Neil Roger,s and the Honourable Parliamentary Secretary and District 7 Representative, Mr. Cardigan Connor, who applauded this great act.
Ms. Connor and family you are highly applauded.
