The Anguilla Statistics Department (ASD) is requesting that all accommodation establishment owners/managers be on the lookout for their Accommodation Occupancy survey forms/questionnaire which will be delivered to the Anguilla General Post Office by June 30, 2019. Occupancy and Average Daily Rates is one of the most important indicators of the health of this industry and has been one of the most popular pieces of data requested by data users, here in Anguilla and abroad.

Attempts were made in 2009 to recommence the collection of data for the production of the subjected areas after a sustained collection and production of such data from 2001 – 2005. This data was collected and reviewed for compilation and dissemination on the website http://gov.ai/statistics/tourism_hotel_summary.htm for easy access by the public to official statistics.

Over the past years, the Department has been inundated with requests from both local, regional and international persons as well as hoteliers and organizations for the official hotel occupancy and average daily room rate numbers.
The Department is therefore soliciting your assistance and commitment in producing quality economic, which would provide rates to monitor and allow for pro-active decision making. Again, we emphasize that we need to work together to produce accurate and consistent series of data.
Should you have any queries or suggestions please do not hesitate to contact us, as we are willing to further clarify any queries that you may have regarding this survey.

In the event that you have not received your package, we are requesting that you contact the Anguilla Statistics Department at 1-264-497-5731 or 497-2451 Ext 1870 or email us at statistics@gov.ai

We look forward to your sincere and consistent return of the forms/questionnaires. It is only with complete information that accurate statistics can be produced for you, to assist in your decision making.
