Damian Gumbs Graduates With Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Damian Khari Gumbs received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from the College of Business Administration at Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Mr. Gumbs, the son of Kimberly Gumbs and Danny Browne , graduated with Magna Cum Laude distinction for his exceptional academic performance during the past four years.

Savannah State University, one of the oldest black colleges in the United States is revered for its innovative research programs, enrichment centers and is a member-school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Mr. Gumbs began his educational journey at St. Mary’s Pre-School in Anguilla in 2000. He later attended Stoney Ground Primary School and the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School before his migration to Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2012 and subsequent graduation from Berkmar High School with academic honors in May 2015. Mr. Gumbs is the grandson of Joleene (Shirley) Gumbs of Rey Hill, Anguilla, and the first great grandchild graduate of the late Daisy “Wong” Richardson. He is a proud member of Beta Gamma Sigma Society and the Financial Advisor of the Young Hustlers New Generation brand in Anguilla.
