Hurricane Ivan devastated Cayman in 2004. Yet despite a crushing sense of abandonment the resilient spirit of Caymanians defied doom, and from despair and ruins Cayman, Anguilla and other BOTs arose. But today the storm that looms over Cayman ominously dwarfs Ivan. Two women are determined to “marry” on Grand Cayman. The hearing is February 6-8, 2019 – now! These ladies, and other LGBTQQIP2SAA (Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Bisexual, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Pansexual, Two-Spirit, Asexual, Allies) advocates, disguise themselves in the robes of “human rights”, “human dignity”, “equality”, “consenting adults” and “love is equal”. They compare their “rights” to the rights of black people – a pretentious and unscientific argument.
The arguments to be presented for this case will essentially say, “after all they are ‘consenting adults’, ‘love is equal’, ‘a person has the right to love anybody he/she chooses’, ‘this is about human dignity’, ‘it isn’t anybody’s business what happens in the bedroom’ ”, and a generous serving of inane labels like “homophobic”, “transphobic”, “haters” ad infinitum.
If these ladies and others, who are insisting on the same “rights” are allowed to plunge Cayman into their darkness, who in the Cayman Islands and Anguilla can say no to five people who want to “marry” each other? This is called polyamory and it is gaining popularity. It is the invisible Siamese twin of “gay “marriage”. Google the trouple in Colombia – three men who want to “marry” each other, and already have been granted legal status. The concerns voiced by US Supreme Court, Chief Justice Roberts, in his dissent in the Obergefell vs. Hodges ruling, warned that “…a leap from opposite sex marriage to same-sex marriage is much greater than one from a two-person marriage to plural unions, which have deep roots in some cultures around the world.” He goes on to reason: “If not having the opportunity to marry ‘serves to disrespect and subordinate’ gay and lesbian couples, why wouldn’t the same ‘imposition of this disability’ serve to disrespect and subordinate people who find fulfilment in polyamorous relationships?” Truth Overruled, Ryan T Anderson. This current case is far more ominous than you think.
If this one judge rules in favour of gay “marriage” then he is setting a precedent for incestuous “marriage”. Cayman would not be able to say no to two half siblings who want to marry each other. Sweden already allows this, as noted on the wedding license application form in a footnote: “Half siblings may marry after approval by the County Administrative Board.” Just as gay sex and gay “marriage” were only frowned on because of “foolish societal taboos”, incest is only taboo because society is too “hateful” and judgemental. But, as the lgbt army is proving, things changin’ real fast.
The LGBTQQIP2SAA are after our children! If the judge rules in favour of these two women, Caymanians will lose their parental rights! Note that students of Heavers Farm Primary School in South East London were obligated to attend a gay pride parade in June 2018 as part of gay pride month. “Despite questions from parents, the school allegedly said it did not come under sexual education and so opt-outs would not be granted, where they might have done in a lesson” (Premier). Again in the UK, according to the BBC, a Sarah Hopson at Bewsey Lodge Primary School, Warrington, gave her 6 year old students the scenario of a prince who loves his male servant. She made them imagine they are the prince and has them each to write a love letter explaining why and proposing marriage to the servant. Parents who voice their objections are labelled as homophobic” and “haters”. They are regarded as dangerous to their children’s healthy development and are at risk of losing custody.
Here are some disturbing health facts. Anal sex is 30 times more risky than vaginal sex (WebMed). The Regardless of income, education, race and medical interventions, AIDS among MSM (Men Who Have Sex With Men) is increasing exponentially (The Lancet). With the UK National Health Service desperately trying to eliminate smoking by 2030 despite it being a “human right”, how can Cayman champion a lifestyle that is even more life threatening and spawns staggering economic and social burdens?
There is absolutely no scientific support for the defiant “born that way” argument. 75% – 90% of gays were molested as children. Don Lemon of CNN is an example. These persons need compassion and support, not the right to live out the twisted effects of their victimisation. Here are some of the findings of Lawrence S. Mayer, Paul R. McHugh of John Hopkins University, published in The New Atlantis, 2016:
? The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings — the idea that people are “born that way” — is not supported by scientific evidence.
? While there is evidence that biological factors such as genes and hormones are associated with sexual behaviors and attractions, there are no compelling causal biological explanations for human sexual orientation.
? Longitudinal studies of adolescents suggest that sexual orientation may be quite fluid over the life course for some people, with one study estimating that as many as 80% of male adolescents who report same-sex attractions no longer do so as adults.
? Compared to heterosexuals, non-heterosexuals are about two to three times as likely to have experienced childhood sexual abuse.
? The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex — that a person might be “a man trapped in a woman’s body” or “a woman trapped in a man’s body” — is not supported by scientific evidence.
And finally, God forbid, should Chief Justice Anthony Smellie, who, interestingly, ruled in favour of gay marriage in the Bermuda court last year rule in favour of twisted reasoning and lifestyles, you will lose your freedom of speech. Sure, you’ll still be able to freely curse God, ridicule the Queen, criticize the church, women, children, men, the elderly and so on. But the day you simply express your opposition to anything LGBTQ – the law will come after you. Caymanians will have to bake, take photos, sing and dance for gay events or else be accused of bigotry and viciously sued. Pastors will be taken to court for peaching against homosexuality or encouraging gays to renounce their lifestyle. In passing the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration Etc.) Bill in 2013, politicians passionately promised that no faith leader would be forced to conduct same-sex marriages, and even included a ‘quadruple lock’ to ensure that no church or other religious institution could be forced to marry a same-sex couple. However, on February 1, 2019, the House of Lords debated an amendment “Removal of exemption for clergy under the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013:
(1) The Secretary of State must make regulations to amend the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 to remove the exemption for members of the clergy to solemnize the marriage of a same sex couple.
(2) Regulations under this section must be in force by the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the day on which this Act is passed.”
The proposed amendment did not pass, but the intent and direction are crystal clear.
As for the “homophobic” labels, how is it that nobody is ever accused of promiscuiophobia, adulterophobia, gambliophobia or lieophobia? How has the LGBTQQIP2SAA been able to pull the wool over the eyes of nations and garnered support for lifestyles that depend perilously on medical and scientific interventions for actualisation and survival? Answer: money, deception and intimidation.
For those who hide behind the false and cowardly argument that “the Bible has predicted that these things will come to pass, so it makes no sense trying to resist it”, let me say this: The same Bible commands that we “earnestly contend (fight) for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints”, Jude 3. Paul declares, “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ”, 2 Corinthians 10:5. We are commanded again to: “Take no part in unfruitful works of darkness but instead expose them”, Ephesians 5:11. Silence against darkness is approval of darkness.
With Hurricane LGBTQQIP2SAA, category 7, looming over the Cayman Islands and other BOTs, people of compassion, character and convictions need to stand up and speak up in no uncertain terms. This is not about politics or personal interests, but about social and scientific sanity, moral integrity, our freedom and our families.
“Cowardice asks the question – is it safe? Expediency asks the question – is it politic? Vanity asks the question – is it popular? But conscience asks the question – is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular; but one must take it because it is right”. Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
So in the spirit of Dr King, yet even more, in the spirit of Christ, take a position for the right. Organise a major rally for the upholding of the constitutional definition of marriage. Flood social media with messages promoting the natural family. Let your politicians know that you are holding them accountable. Challenge judicial tyranny that empowers one activist judge or a panel of unelected activist judges to impose their personal ideologies on an entire nation.
The people, pastors and politicians of the other British Overseas Territories await to hear a resounding “No!” to perversion from true and courageous Caymanians. We expect to see all Caymanian pastors, believers and all people of moral convictions, stand up and resist Hurricane LGBT. The British Overseas Territories are praying for you, standing with you. Your fight is our fight. God is our Commander in Chief. This is the hour of courage. Let Cayman arise.
