A special Leadership Communications session at the Teachers’ Resource Center included preschool teachers from across the island on February 6, 2019. The teacher development session was hosted by Ms. Icilma Webster, Manager of the James Ronald Webster (JRW) Private Play and Preschool.
In all, ten participants shared in the 1-hour refresher module. One each from Bethel Methodist and Saint Mary’s preschools, and two each from First Baptist and Prophecy preschools joined four members of the JRW Private Play and Preschool faculty, including Ms. Webster.
The workshop was based on the “Listening” and “Sharing Information” modules from the Leaders Leading Leaders seminar conducted by Ms. Melinda Goddard, MBA, Principal of ClienTell Consulting, LLC (on behalf of the Anguilla Community College).
Ms. Goddard remarked. “It was a pleasure to work with Ms. Webster and conduct a ‘short course’ to sharpen our most vital interactions with others while engaging with the the entire group throughout the class.”
“I wanted to offer this development opportunity to our teachers (at JRW) and invite others to join us and make the most of the session,” Ms. Webster noted. “It was a wonderful session, and the teachers said they enjoyed it.”
