As of Monday, January 14th, 2019, two grade 5 classes from The Valley Primary School were relocated temporarily to the Old Boys’ School in The Valley. The decision was made to move the students so that conditions at the main school would be more comfortable and accommodating for teaching and learning.
Members of the general public, especially motorists traversing The Valley Road, especially in the area next to the English Rose Restaurant, The People’s Market , St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral and The Strip, are asked to drive with due care and attention. Persons are asked to cooperate with the Crossing Guard who will be in the area to assist the students.
The Department of Education is grateful to Bishop L. Errol Brooks, the Vestry and congregation of St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, for granting permission to house the students and their teachers at the Old Boys’ School.
