Electa-Keria Adams is the new Prisca Ogolo Impromptu Speech champion held on Thursday 10th January in the 4th annual Prisca Ogolo Impromptu Speech contest at the Teachers’ Resource Center. Electa-Keria emerged victorious from a field of 12 participants. She thrilled the audience as she spoke fluently and confidently on the topic, “If I could change just one thing about myself what would it be?”
Sekani Reid secured the second place. Third place was captured by Amani Richardson, while Rayana Webster and Kaori Muckett placed fourth and fifth place respectively.
Cailan Fleming and Davisha Richardson also won prizes as the enthusiastic audience had an opportunity to compete in their own contest. Cailan spoke on the topic “Parents or teachers – who have the more difficult job?” – and Davisha spoke on the topic, “If I had a million dollars how would I spend it?”
The parents of the late Prisca Ogolo, and the members of the N.Y.P.D., wish to thank all the sponsors, supporters and everyone who contributed to making the 2018-2019 Prisca Ogolo Impromptu Speech contest another resounding success.
