The repair and improvement work on the long-established and hurricane-damaged Lake’s fuel station, in the Upper Valley area, isp nearing completion.

The administering company, Sol Ltd, has already installed new underground fuel tanks, new roofing for the fuel station and other facilities.

After a period of closure, the fuel station has been substantially reopened to motorists. However, Mr. Trevor Lake, who, on behalf of his family, has managerial responsibility for the operations, says arrangements are being made to restore the credit services at the station as soon as possible. For the time being, a delivery and cash upfront service is available to motorists.

The full reopening of the centrally-located fuel station will relieve the pressure on the other gas stations, elsewhere on the island, to meet the needs of the motoring public.
