On Friday 11th January, 2019, the students of the Adrian T. Hazell Primary School were the recipients of a number of much needed play equipment. The presentation was made by executive members of two the previous student council, past president Miss Jayda Hodge and past vice president Malachi Hughes. The current student council and some of the class representatives received the equipment on behalf of the entire student body.

The past president and the vice president shared how their peers from the previous student council body had worked hard to raise funds for the equipment. They embarked on a number of fundraising ventures which included Freaky Friday, Pajama Day, Way Back When Wednesday, Movie Day and had a number of slush and snack sales. They admonished the current S.C. body to take good care of the equipment as it was expensive and took a lot of hard work to make the purchase.
The equipment presented included a climbing dome, two see saw aeroplanes, bean bag toss boards and bags, burlap sacks, parachutes, skipping ropes, ring toss sets, basket balls, soccer balls and many other games. Students from all grades will have the opportunity to play with the equipment.

The school would like to thank the Department of Youth and Culture who also contributed funds to the venture. This money from the D.Y.C. was secured by the first S.C. President after the school became fully accredited.
The present Student Council body and advisors vow to continue promoting positivity, safety, citizenship and school pride at The Adrian T. Hazell Primary School.
