The international tourism market and the travel trade press will learn more about Anguilla when the island’s Tourist Board launches a special promotional programme next week.
This has been disclosed by Mrs. Donna Banks, Chairperson of the Anguilla Tourist Board. She made the disclosure while speaking at the official reopening of CuisinArt Resort and Residences on Monday, December 3.
“On December 11 and 12, Anguilla will be rolling out its Beyond Extraordinary Campaign in the USA and Canada as we continue to communicate this message locally – and seek to deliver on this promise,” Mrs. Banks told her listeners.
“At the Anguilla Tourist Board, we believe that there are beautiful islands offering their guests really great experiences. Then there are those with some truly extraordinary experiences but, then, there is Anguilla – beyond extraordinary. We are confident that our Anguilla experience is beyond extraordinary and we intend to deliver on that.”
She continued: “Our people are beyond extraordinary, genuinely warm and friendly, eager to assist and take pleasure in building lasting relationships. Our world-class beaches are beyond extraordinary. Our eclectic cuisine, that defines us as the true culinary capital of the Caribbean, is evidence that Anguilla is beyond extraordinary. Our entertainment, our arts, historic sites; our recognition by Travel and Leisure two years consecutively years, 2017 and 2018, as the number one island in the Caribbean, is simply beyond extraordinary.
“As a destination Anguilla is truly beyond extraordinary. And, as a teacher, I know that repetition is the key to retention – and I keep repeating beyond extraordinary so that you can know that we are beyond extraordinary, and we need to deliver a beyond extraordinary experience.
“Did I forget in mentioning all these beyond extraordinary attributes? Did I forget the highly-acclaimed accommodations that, from the early 1980s, established Anguilla as a luxury destination and the model subsequently replicated by many? Certainly not! From then, to now, our accommodations have been beyond extraordinary.”
